retreat terms & conditions
RETREAT TERMS & CONDITIONS
If you cancel your retreat within three weeks of departure, I (Andy Nathan (Svadhyaya Yoga)) am sorry but no refund will be offered. If you cancel between eight weeks before departure and the three weeks prior to departure you are eligible for a refund of 50% of the full price (minus the deposit - there is NO refund on the £250 deposit).
If you cancel prior to eight weeks before departure then you are eligible for a refund of 75% (minus the deposit - there is NO refund on the £250 deposit).
It is strongly recommended that you take out travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat, which will cover you for cancellations, as I cannot waive the cancellation policy or be liable for loss of your holiday in the event that you are unable to travel to the retreat.
Before you book your retreat, you must read and if you wish to book, confirm agreement to the terms and conditions when booking your deposit HERE. By agreeing to the terms and conditions of this retreat you indicate that you understand the terms and conditions of the booking.
The deposit of £250 is non-refundable.
There is no contract between me and the client until full payment has been made. Full payment of the balance is to be made no later than 6 weeks before departure and ideally at the time of booking. Payment options are: deposit; then either payment in full, or monthly direct debit for 6 consecutive monthly payments. If booking less than 4 weeks before, payment in full is required via Paypal.me/AndyNathanYoga.
While I will always try to treat cancellation sympathetically, I reserve the right to apply the following charges. Travel insurance to cover cancellation is a condition of booking. I suggest you take out travel insurance as soon as you book your retreat, which will cover you for cancellations, as I cannot waive the cancellation policy or be liable for loss of your holiday in the event that you are unable to travel to the retreat.
- 3 weeks prior to departure - No refund
- 6 weeks or less prior to departure - 50% refund (does not include deposit, which is non-refundable)
- 9 weeks or more prior to departure - 75% refund (does not include deposit, which is non-refundable)
It is a condition of booking overseas holidays that all clients must have travel insurance to cover sickness, cancellation or curtailment.
CHANGES OR AMENDMENTS TO COURSES OR VENUES:
Courses in the programme have been confirmed by the course teachers/leaders. If for any reason a course teacher/leader becomes unavailable I will do my best to find a replacement teacher of similar training and quality. Wherever possible you will be advised in advance of any alterations. Amenities or courses may be altered or amended due to maintenance work, mechanical faults, weather conditions, sickness or other situations outside our control and for which I cannot be held responsible.
CANCELLATION OF YOGA HOLIDAY:
In the unlikely event that we would need to cancel a holiday, full refunds will be given for any money paid to me up to the date of the cancellation. No responsibility can be taken for travel booked or other costs incurred. All medical information and food allergy details must be received before making any booking. No responsibility can be taken for information not given prior to the commencement of the course.
I do NOT accept any liability for: Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control, participants' medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday, loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
Non-disclosure of relevant health information, whether physical or psychiatric, can invalidate your travel insurance and cancel our contractual obligation to you. You should in any case inform me of any health issues prior to booking.
In order to avoid injury I ask that you agree to follow all instructions given to you by the instructor as to when, where and how to perform and not to perform the yoga, it being understood that any deviation by you from such instructions shall be at your own risk. Students must listen to their own bodies and work within their own limitations. If any movements hurt or are uncomfortable, it is your responsibility to never take any exercise to a level of discomfort or pain.
I will not be held responsible for any injuries suffered, caused in whole or in part by failure to faithfully follow instructions.
My yoga holidays are not suitable if you cannot take responsibility for yourself either physically or emotionally. By signing this form you confirm that you are medically, physically, emotionally and in all respects fit and able to participate in this retreat.
All medical information and food allergy details must be received before making any booking. No responsibility can be taken for information not given prior to the commencement of the course.
In the unfortunate event of a problem or a complaint about the venue/accommodation/food, in the first instance the client should address it immediately to the venue owner/manager. If not resolved, the client should contact me and I will attempt to mediate and resolve it for you as soon as possible so as not to detract from the enjoyment of your holiday. However, I will always assist you with justifiable complaints provided I am notified of problems at the time they arise.
While promoting a venue does confer recognition of a good standard in accordance with my reputation, I am acting purely and solely as booking agents between, and on behalf of, both parties. I am hiring the venue in good faith that good standards will be met and maintained during the retreat, but do not take responsibility for any problems with the venue/food/accommodation.
